Although the building and construction sector is one of the largest industries worldwide, it is also responsible for global energy consumption, carbon emissions, and natural resource use. With current practices, the industry is not on track to meet its 2050 decarbonisation targets, highlighting an urgent need for sustainable solutions.
ECOFUNC seeks to address these challenges by pioneering the next generation of eco-friendly, functional, and circular building materials that will transform the construction, automotive, and furniture industries toward more sustainable practices.
